In 2014, I travelled to Tokyo for work. On the day of my arrival, I checked into my hotel at 9am and went walking, within a short time I came across an elevated railway line with a series of undercroft areas with lots of small businesses.
Along the side of one of these bridge areas, I can across a series of movie posters.
These had been posted a long time ago, but there were a few recent ones too. The posters had aged, were ripped and overlapped other posters. Combined with the industrial looking metal wall surface, they presented as something very special.
I spent some time there photographing these walls, and the result is now found in TokyoTokyo Designs. I hope you enjoy what I’ve done this these images.
